We are Jubilee Community Church, a life-giving, family church established over 40 years ago, with a heart and a vision for the world. Led by Pastor Ralph and Kristine ten Brinke, we continue to partner with surrounding churches to build a strong, united, and prosperous Church.
Building relationships that build the Kingdom of God.
Our Vision is based on the following two Scriptures:
Matthew 22:36-40
“Teacher, which command in God's Law is the most important?" Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.' This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.' These two commands are pegs; everything in God's Law and the Prophets hangs from them."
Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: "God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I'll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age."
There are three areas in which we must build relationships:
1. The first relationship we must build is with God.
Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.' This is the most important, the first on any list. Matthew 22:37-38
2. We must build relationships with each other.
But there is a second to set alongside it: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.' Matthew 22:39
3. We must build relationships with those who do not yet know their Heavenly Father.
I'll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20
Relationships
We value relationship with God and others as the foundation of our Christian walk and witness.
Accountability and Submission
We value accountability and submission as a way of life, because they initiate respect, unity, humility, and trust.
Worship
We value worship as the expression of our love to God and as a catalyst for Holy Spirit to move in supernatural power.
Children
We value children as a heritage of the Lord. They are the church of today and the leaders of tomorrow.
Commitment
We value commitment demonstrated by each believer taking their place, and doing their part, as a part of this house.
Wisdom
We value wisdom, expressed through the practical preaching and teaching of God’s word.
Missions
We value missions as the call of this house to go into the entire world and preach the Good News about Jesus.
Excellence
We value excellence in life and ministry as the attitude that honours God.
1. There is only one God manifested in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
2. The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
3. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect sinless life, died on a cross for the sins of all, was raised from the dead after three days, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. He will return again to earth to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.
4. Salvation is a free gift from God to all people through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. There is nothing we can do to earn salvation.
5. The Holy Spirit lives in every believer from the moment of salvation and provides power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.
6. It is the will of God for every believer to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to speak in other tongues.
7. It is God’s plan for every believer to be baptized in water as an outward expression of one’s inner faith.
8. Healing and prosperity is available to every believer through the redemptive work of Jesus on the cross.
9. The observance of the Lord’s Supper, also called Communion, in remembrance of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
10. Tithing is a New Testament principle that should be practiced by every believer.
